Basically the idea came when I was scrolling through Behance, seeing all these beautiful futuristic-inspired artworks created by some of my favorite illustrators (I'm sure you can see a bit of their influences on these artworks) and out of a sudden I was like "Well, let me create some cool, futuristic themed illustrations with my own ideas". So here they are...
Vice Versa
/
Sometimes, we’re just too busy looking around at what people are doing around us, judging things, making assumptions that we actually don’t know without realizing that we’re actually being observed too. What goes around, comes around. Always be careful of what you do because people will always treat you the way you treat them.
Virtualize
/
The second artwork in a series of futuristic- inspired illustrations, which is a collaboration with Kult Magazine for their 20th issue, "Toys". Inspired by the VR View-Master (Google Cardboard for kids), kids in the future will be able to have interaction with the outside world only by staying on their bed in their pajamas.
Weekend's Joy
/
Back when I was a kid, remember that happiness always came during the weekend when my parents would ask me to visit the zoo seeing all these beautiful creatures. Sadly, the zoo that I used to always visit when I was a kid is looking a bit tragic right now. :(
Animals in frame including Maleo, Resplendent Quetzal and Red Piranha.
Our Playground
/
The fourth (and the last) artwork of this series, which is also a collaboration with Kreavi (Indonesia-based online platform for designers & people from the creative industry) for their social media challenge. This illustration was inspired by the freedom we experienced during our childhood, where we were able to fully live our life with no pressure from people around us.

The animated version of "Virtualize". Created by Kult Magazine for their Choking Hazard: An Exhibition about Toys at Kult Gallery, Emily Hill, Singapore
